Description: April 12th 5:44pm - Case 876952 - Petty Theft - Suspect was apprehended attempting to steal multiple items. LP Officer witnessed items being placed in purse with intent to steal. LP Officer had reason to believe that more items were hidden on the suspect’s person. Strip search was initiated in order to compile additional case evidence. Suspect was reluctant, but complied. Options to avoid arrest and to remedy the situation were reached. Evidence logged on April 12, 2017.
